I think thats a differant situation when you have control over selling a boat rather than it sinking due to a storm.

The truth is some people do get attached to material things and some do not. It depends on the person, you may not be that type.
You are correct, I am not very upset. Really it could not have worked out any better. We were planning on getting out and I was not looking forward to the selling process, especially in this market and the fact that my boat was the most popular model Sea Ray produced. I think at one point there were 76 boats like mine for sale within 100 miles... The Insurance company has already taken the boat and I am just waiting for them to pay off and send me a check.
Regarding the Sea Wall.. Not sure a boat would make the best choice for that...

Not us. We like it there and will be there this summer. I don't know what the big deal is with people changing marinas. One of my dock mates had a problem with Pennybridge so they moved to SPBM. One of my neighbors was at SPBM for several years but next summer he will be at the Jersey shore. He wanted a change. When Wayne was developing Willow Cove, now Patsy's he had it dredged. The dredge was a pump on a small raft. The suction hose a diver moved around between the docks and the other hose deposited the mud on land. They didn't use a clamshell dredge like they use for shipping channels. He disposed of the mud on site and I think it can still be done that way. Wayne can run his marina any way he wants. As I said before if you aren't happy there move and get on with your life. Nobody likes a whiner.

I am sorry you feel that way. I only point out your grammar because it is difficult to follow your posts sometimes. I just feel if you are going to engage in dialog you should at least read what you are posting to be sure it makes sense. I know you post on your phone and that can be a PITA but phone or not, you can re-read what you are writing.. Or not, You can do whatever you want to do...

Just an FYI for anyone who needs fiberglass work. I'm a huge fan of John Imhoff (Toxic John) but there is no way he could ever handle all the work that needs to be done. I ran into Joe Molliari from East Coast Bow Thrusters and he told me he has set up shop at Patsy's Bay Marina. (Next door to SBPM to keep this relevant to the thread)
The man did an amazing job installing my bow thruster and his work was even praised by Toxic John. If you need some work you couldn't be in better hands with either guy.
