SPBM

Is it Spring yet? The boat show really gave me the itch. I started looking thru some pictures for last season and came across this one I thought I would share one of my favorites. Thanks to BenDiss for sending it to me.

We did the Miami show several years ago. Spent 2 1/2 days at it. Hoping to do it again once things pick up.

Yeah that was supposed to be a video clip but I can't seem to make that work. I don't have the original Ben posted it on Facebook and I can't seem to copy it.

Went up to SPBM this past weekend to see the repairs:
Unless the marina owners bring in a good crew,to work on the docks, don't see how that marina will be ready for boats in the water by spring.
They did however go around the marina picking up the boards from the deck by the pool broke apart, and nailed them back down. They didn't seem to finish, because they couldn't find all the boards.
I hope for the boaters, the Marina is ready for spring.

I need to get me a picture of my boat moving through the water.

I know you posted this picture somewhere before but i really thought it was taken from the Trojan Brochure!!! Its really a great picture. All my Trojan pictures are static but one which is on my profile. Not as exciting picture! :-)

If you look closely, you can see me at the helm, and my wife and our dog in the back.

And you are waiving as well :-) NICE. Who took the picture and where?
I guess I did a terrible job taking your picture of the harlem river drive when you came back from vacation last season!!! I could recognize the bow splash and shape from 1/2 mile away, i remember thinking who ever was on that boat wasn't happy as it was very fast :-) i sent the picture to Dave.

Yes it is, but notice it's not a raft-up at night!

Hank is Hogan's respond relates to your question to me 2-3 days ago? Is that a sensitive issue? I am still trying hard not to stir any pots!!! :-) I guess you shoul update me at some point in the upcoming season.

Allen- the seems to be a bit of a difference of opinion as to whether you run generators at night during raft ups. I personally don't remember the reasons but would be curious of your opinion on the subject.

Really!!! Me??? The answer is not usually.
Nice to know my generator is on someones agenda! At list its not the Sperm on my dinghy or my Trojan :-)

let me dredge up some smiles..........................................

No. Not you personally. In general it has been a hot topic with two polar opinions. If you notice the two major raft ups in Bowline, one has most gennys running all night and the other has none. Each has their thoughts on the subject.
