My dining room is slowly filling up with boxes of things to install on our "new" boat. At this rate I'll either run out of money or need the entire boating season to install stuff.

Let's make a box count!!! There is nothing like coming home and hearing the wifey yearling "honey, what did you order again, there is a package from Defender"!!! I keep telling her the bottom paint is not for me, it's for her :-)

Allen why not have the stuff shipped to your office??? This way there are no questions asked?? You do not want to upset Ro over a few gallons of bottom paint.... Also if are are telling her the paint is for her bottom do not order gallons of it. The ladies are very sensitive about that talk.....

exactly the respond I expected from you about my wife's bottom!!! :-) I guess that's what Dave was trying to alert me to :-) the thing is if I order it to my office I will have no one to help me With Shlepping everything back home. Lol.
I have been on good behavior this winter so I can take a little yelling :-)

Wow I didn't even have time to respond but Bill beat me to this one!

I was trying to relate the joke to this:

Lets see what I can remember with my foggy memory;

Update some of the electronics, adding a Furuno TZT14 with AIS, GPS and 24" dome radar to existing system which already has a very good 4' open array radar system but chartplotter sucks.

New mesh type forward window cover, have to fit and add snaps.

Repair parts for the windlass are in.

Add wireless remote to the Auto pilot for more freedom in the bridge.

Add a self built PC based nav system for backup navigation (I refuse to trust the Raymarine chartplotter that came with the boat, complete crap IMO).

Engine room and salon cameras to the TZT14

Adding numerous shelfs to existing cabinets and closets throughout to make them more storage friendly.

Adding a door to the bridge to make AC up there more effective.

Found a way to convert the older Sony radio units to accept line input via a bluetooth adapter and a dongle that coverts the CD changer input to line in. Able to control music from anywhere on the boat via my cellphone.

Add additional direct TV box to VIP stateroom.

Start buff magic on the bridge and deck areas while boat is covered.

I'm sure there are more items and I'll add to the list as I recall them.

John if you have extra time in the sping I have some work you can do for my boat as well... Good luck getting all of that done, I am tired just hearing about all that work... BK... :--)))

Me too!?!?!?! Why hell did I go and make that list????

[sarcasm Mode]Maybe I can get the wife to help. [/Sarcasm Mode]

My "to do" list is:

Go somewhere warm at least once a month over the winter

Uncover boat in March

Have marina wax boat

Have marina put boat in water

Relax on boat.

Ben what is the ETA of getting her back?? Were you at the marina when they loaded her on the truck?? Any pictures??

TO DO LIST
Reupholster my seats.
Have props reconditioned.
Pull out my Raymarine RL80CRC and put in my E120 with new radar wire.
Add video monitors
Wash and wax. May have the marina do it.
Redo screens in port holes.

Go to Hawaii for 18 days, come home, launch boat and drink, then think about summer vacation.

I wasn't able to be there, but Mike and Jimmy were there to load it so I'm not worried about it. The factory's schedule to begin work in Feb and expect to have it done by March.

Glad to see I am not the only one with a laundry list of things going on before recommissioning in the spring.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. It is brutal outside I don't want to get out of bed.
