SPBM

My projects for upcoming spring commission:
1. Re paint swim platform. Bought wiki grip for that, read good reviews on this product. Will have to get the platform home though.
2. Finish up some stuff we didn't finish from the floor and third stateroom projects. Molding floor trim etc.
3. Replace impellers and belts on both engines and generator.
4. Fix my port rudder, turning very hard. Probably have to take it of, hope its just grease.
5. No bottom paint, just touch ups however paint the trim tabs and some of the aluminum parts of the hydraulic swim platform, also add plastic washers to where I have screws and bolts to eliminate corrosion.
6. Wash and wax the boat.
7. Mark the anchor chain so when launch I know hoe much chain is out.
8. Wireless camera system in anchor room.

That's it!!!

Todo List:

Dink over to Cracker P's full moon party on Lubbers Quarters.

Allen, if you have the original OEM water pumps, I would recommend that you replace them with the ones Tony Athens sells. The Sherwoods that came with the engines are junk.

Do they have the same impellers?

No, but the Sea Max pumps come with two sets of impellers. Go on their site and read up about them.

Allen,
I hope you have a crane to get the swim platform off. That thing is friggen heavy. Should I give you mine too while you are at it? Lol!

Bob i know. Last year i had one one the hydraulics hoses burst and to replace it (not before causing more damage) i had to take the platform down. I was able to do it with a friend but in the process the platform got really dirty and i lost some of the plastic washers and when placing the platform again with out them i got some corrosion on the aluminum supports.
So if you like my work i can do your platform and when comes the time you can make me knew camper!! Deal? :-)

Not true for our boats. I have 6 lights in my stern. One will never cut it. Love my SeaBlaze III's.

Cool concept for a smaller boat but I don't even have a drain plug so it would be of much use to me.

I guess it want work for you! Lol.
The little differences between one Trojan to the other.
Interesting idea though I thought.

why the camera in anchor room?

The anchor is positioned under the pulpit so I can't see it when launching or pulling it back up. So instead of operating it from the helm I always do it from the bow and then I run back to the helm. When windy and there are boats around it always get a little tense. :-)

Do you usually single hand it? We have yet to anchor out (hope to change that this year) but my wife handles all the line duties and will no doubt handle that too. I have docked by myself when it was very calm but would not want to attempt it in the wind.
