I was there a few years ago and it was very expensive, but we had a good stay. Then it went down hill from there... Never been back.

I remember your ranting post a while back…. I was just seeing if you were paying attention... It worked….. [^]
 
All i needs now is LIYC post and ill be over the edge...

Shrink wraps cut .... Yard is working on the boat.... 1st week of march is coming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I don't think mother nature is through with us. Crappy weather coming for Sunday.

Anyone have any info about the LIYC, we are thinking of spending some time there this summer.

Heard it was clean, friendly and cheap.

I love the mechanics at my marina... These guys are awesome .....

I was down at the boat yesterday... went inside the wrap for the first time since jan....... I didnt realize how much I missed her till I sat at the helm...... THERE I WAS......blasting tru Jones inlet... wind in my hair .... some blonde at my knees......

Then some jerk yells ROB u want get down from there we want to go home .....

Whats to clean up? I will help knock LIYC and get Brad all pissy.

Why would anyone want to pay about $5 to $7K a year for a yacht club.....to have 12 months of parties?

At the AYC, my total yearly cost is less than $2K. I don't pay for things I don't use. I own my slip so I have a equity increase every year. I can work on my own boat whenever I want.

LIYC sounds like a great place but after a few years of LIYC you could own a slip forever at AYC. With marinas dropping like flies, I like knowing I always have a slip.

Anyone know when AYC is turning on water? I ain't going in till then. I think it is 4/15.
One bad thing about the AYC, they are so slooooow with the water. I don't understand why they have the water pipes running on top of the dock. Put them under the water and they will never freeze!
 
Anyone catch that quick snow yesterday, while I sitting at the helm, a huge snow squall came though, it was a sight to see, but there is something about being on a boat and seeing snow is odd.

Yeah, we had that snow and wind. Piece of my neighbors house blew off as I was outside BBQ'ing in that snow! Almost took my head off! It was like a blizzard for a few minutes!

Interesting that you don't shrink wrap at all.
