Guys springs coming.. Just got my splash date from the marina. March 7th.....Lets go spring

Rob

Brrrrrrrrrr....... , just dug out of 1/2" ice and 2" snow.... And I'm south of you !

March 7th!
How do they paint your bottom?

I am shooting for First couple of weeks in April.

Bottom gets done every other year. This years a by year. Jay my only concern is wind.... With no other boats on the dock , The floater gets some serious roll going in a west wind!!

Rob

Shooting to pick it up about 4/15...unless someone else owns it by then. :)

When I get to Florida....with the motorhome and the kayak....I'll throw the kayak in the Gulf..... :)

Boat will go in March 10th with new diesel motors and genset. Can't wait!

Wow, March 7th, that's dedicated! Do you have block heaters? Supposed to go down to about 12 degrees tonight and you have less than 2 weeks to go. I think I'd rather stay winterized a little longer.

I'm not in a rush to go in this year. My boat is in Massachusetts getting a new hardtop. I figure I'll go in at the beginning of May and keep the boat out at Montauk for the month of May and do some fishing out there. I don't think it pays to go earlier than that, won't be much to fish for yet.

Splash?? Boat is in the water 24/7/365. Ok,,maybe not 365,,,360. Little boat with go in whenever they want to do it, but its a center console so April/May works.

Kellyg what engines did you put in the Regal?

Also in the water all year. I will commission and move to my summer spot around March 19th. It was not the same at my new marina, there was no incentive to go down and hang out like I did at the LIYC. For the Winter they moved me closer to the working part of the yard and there are boats on land behind my boat so it not the same feeling as before. I think next year I may just go up on the hard for the winter.

John,

Rob doesn't have block heaters so he won't be going anywhere until it is warm enough.

Mine never came out
Will move it out east mid March as long as the ice is gone

March 25th has been the earliest I have ever splashed. Not having water in the Marina till the second week in April is what dictates my splash date.

My boat was waxed went it went away, so I am not sure I need water to get it launched.

Anyway Walter, we need to find out when our teak is getting done.
I guess he can do it in the water.

You don't need water because your boat is always dirty, where mine is pristine :)

Shrink wraps off! Waves and wheels Monday ! Splash wed ,thur or friday !!!

Rob

......SNOW Saturday...........................just kiddin pal !!
