What was going on with that blowing you emailed me about ? :)

I didn't realize I needed to bring a date. I hope my wife doesn't mind.

Weekend looks like it might be slightly better. Hope you get out there!

Going down to the yard tomorrow to give them some cash. They finally finished working on my center console. 3grand worth of work. Eh, gotta love boating..

I finally scored a counter rotating Alpha drive for my boat. Going to mount it on the port side. Ordered the appropriate prop, and ready to do the switch at the helm.
Moving up to late 20th century technology.

Well, Rob is in the water,

Don, how long before the buoy thread?

Mark.....should be soon..... and Im ready with " that " picture. :)

That is so wrong, but looking forward to seeing it :)

sorry Rob :)

Anybody else getting close? Spent the afternoon at the marina and think this is the week!

Waxed the hull up to the rub rail this morning. Tomorrow, one of our sons is coming out to help me bring the outdrive to the marina (he's got an SUV) and install it on the boat. Then, it's start her up and check everything. If all's OK, then some time next week we'll splash and next Saturday, I'll take her east to Eastport for the season. Hy

I'm supposed to go in Friday. Waxed the hull last weekend and took care of some other things, this weekend I'll be changing engine impellors and a few other things. Should be all set to go.

I'm in out in Shinnecock and as a heads up for anyone using the canal this season...

It looks like they will be doing work on one of the bridges (rr I think) that span the canal. A scaffolding will be installed surrounding the structure and will take away approx 2' of clearance. Right now there's only a sign but...

Boat's looking great and I'm learning everything...never had a boat with twins, nor a working marine head, nor a kitchen, hot water heater...lol

am/fm Radio...yup, 1st boat ever. 1st time I spent a grand at the pumps and still didn't fill her up.

Hope to meet up sometime this year...

Ours was just launched last week. This has been the first year out since 2005 & I expected to get back in by early March.
But I had to have the keel re-repaired because of such a crappy repair by my last yard. [:-banghead][:-pirate]
Looks like it’s stronger then new and I have a high level of trust with our new Brewers yard. Will be stopping by this weekend for the first time in the water.

Just about done, a few finishing touches that can be done on the hard or after the boat goes in. Risers replaced earlier this week as well. LAUNCH DATE 4/21....can't wait.

Just splashed in this week, went to the boat and see I have a lot of cockpit cleaning. Hull is waxed, but looks like spanky and the gang commissioned the boat, good guys but geese this is not grease monkey ally!

I guess this time of year they are flipping boats all over to get everyone in water on time.
