There is a problem on my boat (2005 Chaparral 310 express cruiser) that when it rains, water collects in the transom locker. The locker has 2 drain holes. Unfortunately, they drain directly into the engine room bildge. I want to add some hoses to take the water from these 2 drain holes so it will drain outside the boat.

The hose from the drain holes in the transom locker will be about 3/4 in ID. I'd like to splice into one of the existing scupper hoses to drain the water out of the boat. The scupper hose is about 1 inch ID. Is it possible to find a "T" type connector that will allow me to splice the scupper hose (1" ID) and add a 3/4" ID input hose?? If so, where can I find such a "T" connector??

Thanks

Any good plumbing supply house will have these. 1x1X3/4 Tee, nylon barbed. Make sure that when your done, the water from the scuppers will not end up in the transom locker.

Check the plumbing section at the hardware store. Ace Hardware stocks a lot of nylon flexible hose connectors.

I've tried Lowes and HD with no luck. I'll go to Ace and a plumbing store next. Thanks for the help.
