I think it's finally here!! Forecast calls for 80 tomorrow and it looks like a pretty nice weekend. My boat might actually leave her slip for the first time this year. Maybe we will have more then 4 boats on our dock soon.

Sounds like a plan. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday so I wont got much boating in but Sunday I plan to enjoy. I was up there today but never actually was on board my boat to much going on but the weather was great.

It sure was nice here today. Too bad I spent most of my day working the computer and on the phone. But at least I was at my on the water office. Got to leave tomorrow and be back in the office by noon. We are already planning returning Thursday afternoon to resume work from my floating office.
Bill

Billy a few years ago I had set up my boat to remote into my office and I would spend a bit of mostly writing bills and estimates while on board. The internet hasn't been very reliable there for a couple of years but we know have Optimum WiFi available at the dock so I have to see what I can do. I enjoyed working from the boat and I found I was very productive very few distractions there during the week I find to be very relaxing. Funny not much about work that I find relaxing these days.

I can't wait to see 80 today I hope I can get up to the boat for a little bit this afternoon. I've got a water heater to remove and prep for a new one.

We're splashing (finally) later this morning. Between make-up baseball games, scouting, and a stray Board meeting, looks like we woun't get any serious time aboard till the weekend - pending more make-up games. Will need to get the wifi working before friday, though - the Admiral needs it . . ...

80-degree temps can't get here soon enough!

I plan on working from the boat at least 1 day a week. Fridays work out the best.

Towed Giggity to the marina and waxed the hull with Tim. Flew out of Westchester airport to Wash, DC for work. I plan on staying on the boat at least Thur nite - Mon nite all summer

Mike I think you would be more comfortable on Hogan, Giggity is nice and all but not much in the way creature comforts.

What's the story with your floor? Did you DIY or did someone local do it?

Ben he did it himself. He showed up with a box of flooring and a couple of saws and next thing I knew he was finished. But I didn't see the job until this post. It looks like he did a nice job in would seemed like no time at all.

I hope to be up there by the end of the work day but I'm not sure this will happen. I want to complete my water heater and some more clean up.

That floor looks great! is that a hardwood product or a laminate??

I'm thinking of changing out the carpet and putting in laminate. It's not a big piece, but I'm not sure how to do it.
