So spring is around the corner and its time to do the yearly stuff! So my question is do you guys just go through whole boat or do you have a check list? If you have a check list do you care to share? :-)

Either way spring is coming! And day light savings time is coming! Longer days!!!

I have a check list but I think it is very related to what's on my mind or what I feel my boat need what I did last year etc... For example this year I am replacing my impellers and belts on both engines and generator, have to look into a little steering problem, touch up some bottom paint, wax etc...

I keep notes during the season on what isnt up to par.

With the little boat i work from the bow back to the stern. See what it needs and i fix it. Hopefully this year im not plagued by mechanical issues

Currently have risers and exh manifolds off one engine, already did impellers on both. I have a list, its long, boat is old and I am a bit crazy. I never complete the entire list, soon after she goes in I start adding to it again. Depends on what she really needs and what I feel like she needs and what I want to upgrade. Last year was nothing mechanical, but lots of cosmetic; really focused on the fiberglass, had some parts re chromed, new boot stripe...this year its mechanical.

As far as the routine maintenance like zincs, bottom paint...its part of my list that never completely gets crossed off, just "checked" that I did it that year. List is prioritized, big PITA stuff first, then what needs to be done before splash, then what can be done after splash.

Goal - is to have it all done before splash so I can make an ass print in any of the chairs and fill up the recycling bins the whole season without getting my hands dirty. Usually happens.

I have all small stuff. Boat is in great shape. Just want to change oil, clean strainers, etc. just don't want to miss anything. Boat stays wet all year :D

I had a list for my Commercial boat.
Everything else was just an inspection prior to start up.
Trailer brakes, Bearings and Lights were always in need.
Corrosion at the wires behind the dash on the boat too.

I was always surprised at the Ramp with something new!
