Square Rigger in the River

[Good Grief]

On the way home from work yesterday, I enjoyed the view of a square-rigged, three-masted sailing ship heading up river, just about to transit the Bear Mt. Bridge.

Does any one know if it's time for the "Revolutionary War on the River" re-inactment at West Point already??

I saw that yesterday too. It was pretty cool. Did anyone see the spectacular sunrise over the Hudson 5:15 this morning or am I the only one on the road at that un-Godly hour? It was breathtaking & the river was smooth, calm & blue from my view point on 9W. Made going to work today especially difficult.

Newburg, I believe, has their samll boat and vendor show this weekend (11th-13th) and that sailing ship will be docked there.

Judy, I used to be up at that hour and while I miss the gorgeous sunrises, I'd enjoy sleeping in even more!
