You need to have an anchor to access the PM feature.

I did a paypal payment Wednesday but still cruising with no anchor. Hopefully this is the norm.

Yes, unfortunately, it usually takes some time...

Thanks again to all the great suggestions. We plan to leave the Chesapeake June 17 and if everything goes according to plan spend the week of July 14 in the 1000 Islands area. The last half of July will be spent enjoying the Rideau and Ottawa. A couple if new questions have come up since my last posts.
A dockmate who was on the Rideau last year in a center console claims vessels that draw more than 3.5 ft have to sign a release because there is no guarantee to be enough water to pass. I think he may be mistaken but I am wondering if I need to worry or at least take extreme care in certain areas.
If medical assistance is needed what should we expect? Is insurance accepted or needed? Would we have to pay cash for services? I guess I could Google this but I do appreciate the boater perspective.

What is the price of diesel up there nowadays?

Kenny,

I copied your post into an e-mail to Sawdust. I believe they've had to avail themselves of the medical system in Canada, so they should be able to help you with that. Regarding diesel prices, I saw it from $4.40 to $4.50 in the Alexandria Bay area last weekend. It will probably be a bit higher on the Canadian side.
