Stain on PVC Ding

We own a 2002 Quicksilver AIR 270 made of PVC. Overall it has benn a good boat. Last Fall we had it in the river, and it seemed to pick up a stain on the bottom that we cannot get off. The stain is a light tan - tea color. The stain is only on the bottom, but not on the entire area. It seems to have only penetrated those areas that have been scuffed. I'll try to get a picture. In that past I've used Soft Scrub w/ bleach to clean it - and that works great.

Any ideas would be helpful.

i have used watered down muratic acid with fine results. just keep the hose out. try a heavy watered down mix and see what happens. add more muratic to it and try again if it didnt work. keep going until you get to a strenght that removes it

I had the same thing happen to my Quicksilver. Its made out of PVC as well and the only thing i found to remove those marks was Suger Soap. I bought it in the concentrate and just made it farly strong. Apply a fair bit and let it soak for ten mins then just use a brush to clean it. It just depends on how bad the stain is. The Quicksilver shop told me that they also get that tea coloured stain from the UV. Let us know how you go. Kyle
