I have a 2003 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer with twin 4.3 Mercs. The starboard engine has been giving me starting problems. This isn't a constant issue, but has become more frequent. When I go to start the engine I get an audible start tone, but nothing else. No cranking noise from the starter. Usually the engine will eventually start after several attempts. There are no issues with the port engine. I've been told it may be the neutral safety switch, a slave solenoid or the solenoid itself? Any way of determining what the problem is?
Thanks!!
