does anyone have any experience with building a stitch n glue dinghy /small boat?

I've been considering various options for a dinghy for a while now... dont' want an inflatable, Boss boat too expensive, ... i was leaning towards a carolina skiff but came across a couple of sites about Stitch n Glue building.

didn't think much of it at first but i'm now thinking it could be fun project over a couple of week ends... it seems pretty easy... cut the plywood, stich them loosely with nylon ties, build and seal the joints with epoxy and fiberglass, fair and paint.

I'm thinking about building a 13' boat that can be rowed, powered by my samll 3.3 but also sailed (main and jib, and optional spi). could be a fun toy too, especially for the kids.

I dont' use the dinghy that much, so i dont' want to spend a lot of $$$ and this seems like a nice option.
