Everybody ready? Here is NOAA through Tuesday for central basin of Lake Erie
Late Afternoon: N wind 38 to 40 kt, with gusts as high as 55 kt. Rain. Waves 12 to 13 ft.
Tonight: N wind 45 to 47 kt, with gusts as high as 65 kt. Rain. Waves 17 ft building to 21 ft.
Tuesday: NNE wind 35 to 40 kt decreasing to 29 to 34 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 kt. Rain. Waves 18 ft subsiding to 9 ft.
We (AYC) hauled the last 40 boats out on Saturday in miserable condidtions. The last time we had 70+ mph wind gusts was a few years ago while the boats were in the water. This time they are all out in craddles or on blocks and jack stands.
Good luck everybody
Niles
