Stove

My stove has power to all of the burners but doesnt get hot. Oven works fine. Any Ideas ? it is a Princess Seaward and doesnt look like it was used very much. I would think new elements except there all out. 1987 Carver 3227 Southern Lady.

I am not sure if we have the same type of stove as this but on ours, the metal cover when opened for use slides down and makes contact with a safety switch. I had problems with it once and discovered it had not contacted the switch fully.

Freaky. I read this last week and ran into the same situation for the first time last weekend. Your tip came to mind so I lifted the cover and let it drop back down. Presto, scrambled eggs.
