Just discovered a wet spot between the baseboard and carpet on the spare cabin side of the bulkhead separating the mid cabin and head. The shower is on the head side but has not been used yet this year. Hoping its not a leak in the fresh water plumbing. Have any 3880 owners had any experience with this???
Thanks in advance

I had a similar problem and discovered it was a leaky fitting on the head sink. The water found its way and pooled under the outboard bunk. Also check the shower body for possible leaks by removing the fixtures and mirror. I have also heard of poorly siliconed joints in the shower causing similar leaks.

That baseboard seperating the cabin from the head is removable and allows access to the shower drain and hose. Try removing it and see if you can find the source.

I had a wet spot on the carpet next to the refrigerator and discover it was a fitting on the ice maker. It was easy to get to as the ice make easily slides out.

Thanks for your responses. We are wondering, if it is a fresh water leak wouldn't our water pump be coming on more often to compensate for the leak? Also can anyone tell us where the accumulator tank is (have located everything but)? Have looked at the baseboard between the head and the mid cabin, it appears to be glued on, is it actually an access panel and/or is there a trick to removing it? Thanks in advance for your help.

The accumulator is in the engine room forward of the hot water heater.

The area you describe is held on with screws. They "disappear" into the carpet and are difficult to find. Try using a magnet to see where there is an attraction and then feel with your fingers.
