I am new here looking for help. Have a 93 Tiara with twin Mercruiser 350 inboards. I can drive all day fast, slow, idle but as soon as I turn the engines off for 15-minutes or more and then start off again, My starboard engine starts cutting out around 2,600 RPM. Even in neutral, the engine starts cutting out aroung 4,000 RPM. Everything looks good. If I disconect the fuel hose from the pick-up and blow into it and then put it back, the engine runs fine again. The filters are new, fuel lines are good, mechanical fuel pump works. Could it be some kind of vapor lock? Any advise would help.
