Went out yesterday over by Tellers Point and after 4 hours I only got two catfish. I moved up off of potato rock and all hell broke loose. Within 5 minutes I had a 19 incher. I took a picture and threw him back. I rebaited the hook and threw it in. Almost instantly I got another one. It was 31 inches. While I was unhooking it the other rod started shaking. I had another one, 24 inches. Then I was out of bait so I went in. I almost had too much fun. Can't wait to get out there again. Wish it wasn't raining today.

We were north of you on edge of the channel. We managed to get 2 on board. Afew catfish and some perch. Fished the out going tide. Weather was great and winds co-operated for a change. It made for a great day on the water...

We landed a 28" keeper yesterday on clams at Rommer Shoal.

Not much else going on the boats around me.

A friend of mine from Pa was going to go to Sandy Hook next week to fish for stripers. You said it was slow. Do you think he would do better coming here? He said he heard the striper fishing has fallen off down there.

It was hot all week until I showed up. This rain today is going to have an effect.

I read that down by Mannesquan Inlet the fishing was hot.

Who can tell where the fish are headed? It goes hot and cold I can't figure it out.

Still nice to get out there and enjoy the sunny day we had and run the big boat.
