Spent a long weekend at Strong's in Mattituck, NY last weekend. The old Matt a Mar marina. They are doing a great job on the place. Cleaned up the bathrooms, the pool area is very nice (saltwater)and the grounds are great. Called for my slip and they had 5 helpers on the dock waiting for me. Each and every boat that came in after got the same treatment. One boat lost an engine and they sent a dink out to help them into there slip. They had a band and food from 4-8 Sat. Pace Steakhouse is taking over the restaurant opening Oct 1st. We would not have gone back to Mattituck if they hadn't change hands. Planning to go back mid to late Sept.
