This season I have been witness to some boaters throwing off their anchors from the stern rather than the bow. Not only does this look stupid and awkward, but the wind and current push against the flat transom and often result in the boat becoming un-hooked.
Stupid question: Why do people anchor from the stern?
The board was getting a little "boring" so I thought I'd throw this in the mix.
