Mid July 2011 Cruise. Western Lake Erie, to Bob-Lo Island, Windsor, Lake St.Clair, St. Clair River, Wallaceburg, Ont. 9 days 250 miles round trip. Planned events, golf, fishing, dinner theater, Skeet shoot, blind folded dingy race with your spouse giving instructions. Great cruising grounds. Those interested, post here.

When are you planning to be on Lake St. Clair?
I will try to run into you guys if you make it this way.
 
This is what it looks like so far. Still waiting to confirm on some of the agenda items. We usally end up with 8 to 14 boats going. No specific departure times as some boats run faster than others. Great fun. Most of us are coming out of Lake Erie and Lake St Clair.

16th Saturday: Bob-Lo Island, Ont. Meet up date
5 pm dock cocktails, 7pm dinner at Sushi 519 736-2917

17th Sunday: 22 Windsor, Ont. Lakeview Park Marina ( ch 68 on approach )
5 pm dock cocktails, dinner on Erie St, Casino stop after dinner

18th Monday: 20 The Old Club, Harsens Island, Mich.
. Dingy time, golf, skeet, pool, fishing

19th Tuesday: The Old Club, Blind folded dingy race, putting,
closest to the pin contest

20 th Wednesday: 25 St. Clair, Mich. ( Bridge opens on the hour )
Shops, golf, fishing, dingy

21 st Thursday: 25 Wallaceburg, Ont. ( 1st bridge opens on the hour )
5 pm dock cocktails, Hospitality tent, local chief prepares dinner,
entertainment, day of arrival fishing, dingy, golf.
Shuttle to surrounding towns and shops

22 nd Friday: Wallaceburg, Ont. Dinner Theater at the Acorn

23rd Saturday: 60 Bob-Lo Island, Ont.

24th Sunday: 50 Home

Sounds like a lot of fun Ron. The itinerary includes 4 border entries though. If move a few of the stops and trade the second Boblo visit with a U.S. port, you could reduce it to 1 entry into Canada and one return. The Metro Beach Metro Park in Lake St. Clair is an easy stop with great dinghy cruising. With an IYLA affiliation, you could stop at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, DYC, or if you wanted to say at the south end of the River, the Ford YC on Grosse Isle.
 
We are working with the Acorn dinner theater group to put a special performance for us,as well as having the cast join all of us for cocktails. Dates are working out to be either July 21st or 22nd 2011. This will take place in the town of Wallaceburg, Ont. Also a round of golf, Teeing off about 11 am, and back to the boats by 3:30/4pm. Those interested in joining in please post here. Please remember that the ride up river takes about 1:45 min, and several bridge openings. 30 amp power is available.
