Summer Get Together (Fling)

I ran in to Liz AKA Flutterby this evening and it got me a'thinkin'... I think we could try a democratic way to determine a date for the summer fling. Now, this is by no means sientific, but, it may give us an insight into when it would be best to get together this July. Why July you may ask... Well, it was the first month mentioned (DVAN posted)... So here is the question.
Which weekend in July would you like to have the summer fling?
 
I'll have to take this up with the MRS. I don't think she'd like me having a summer fling! But I'll run the dates by her anyway :)
 
Good idea Greg! As I mentioned, I'm available for any weekend except July 17th....sorry, Gnarly!
 
In my OP, I said June, July or Aug. I am open except for the first two weeks in June. If the timing is bad in July for many of us, how about the end of June, or sometime in Aug?
 
DVAN I am sorry I mis-quoted you. In my zest to help I made a mistake. If there are other dates, months etc. that we want to consider then by all means lets do it. I only want to help and have fun at the same time. I dont like making errors...
 
June is already pretty full for me. I still prefer the first weekend in August......

No problem, I just didn't want everyone to think that we could only go in July.
 
I finally looked at my calendar and my best dates are the July 18-19 and 25-26 weekends. I see that half of the crowd in listing to the August 1-2 weekend when I'll be up at Hat Creek and Burney Falls. Oh well I may miss this one but I'll keep my eye on the final date as the planning proceeds.
 
Trout fishing.... Yes I am! I haven't been up there for about 4 years and had an invite a few moths ago and figured it was time to go back and try my luck catching some German's or nice Rainbow's. It sure is nice country!
 
June and July are pretty booked up for my family. I'd prefer one of the first two weekends in August although my 22nd anniversary is on August 2nd, so plans could come up for that weekend. If youse guys decide on a dock to meet, we might dinghy over for an afternoon, but summers on the Delta are hot and we prefer to spend most of our time at anchor and in the water.
 
Dave, a raft up is also being considered. 22 years? That's great. Congratulations!!!!

Gnarly, I was up only once, in 1969. The area is beautiful, but it was a late winter so our fishing wasn't very successful.....
 
As of now, July 31st and August 1 and 2 sound as good as any. My 21' cuddy might be lacking for a raft-up but would be willing to give it a try.
 
I used to spend an entire weekend on the hook in my 19 ft cuddy. You need to plan ahead. Think of it as camping on the water, but you don't need to pack a tent! ;>)
