SW Florida boating vacation in 18 days, any tips?

Shopping?? I thought you were fishing and boating???
 
Pdecat, I am still in NY. I head to Florida on the 18th, so I am still putting together some gear. I am not used to the heat and sun after this brutal winter, so night fishing is my back up plan if the sun is to much (unlikely, I am prepared). I thought the lights would add to the fun!
 
There is dockage on the backside of boca grande walking distance to downtown also the fishery resteraunt in placida near the swing ridge to boca is great with dockage. Harpoon harry in fishermans village for lunch is a given and close.
 
It has been a great trip so far. We have really enjoyed the boat, and being on the water. 2 weeks down, 1 left to go. The fishing has been incredible. snook, redfish and Cobia galore. More shark than I can count. The shark actually surprised me in terms of how good they are to eat. I am not sure why they are not more popular?

I will post more when I get back home, we are heading out to dinner now.
