hi guys....this past weekend was the first time ive run my boat at cruising speed all year.all other trips have just been short trips.i have twin crusader 270's.this weekend when i was throttling up i noticed the port tach was about 500 rpm higher than starboard. i usually cruise at around 3200 rpm.both throttles were in basically the same position, the engine sync showed that both motors were running same speed and they sounded in sync.by ear and by feel they sounded just right, but the port tach was showing 3700rpm. i havenet done anything yet, but first thing im gonna do is swap out the tachs to see if the symptom reverses itself.i recall seing a post about this a few months back but dont remember it well. id appreciate any hints. thanks in advance.
