not the most pleasant task but not too bad with an empty tank... after a few years, the little floats stick to the rods and get stuck, resulting in the lights staying on. It's jsut a matter of disconnecting the wire, screwing the round fitting out of the tank and clean the short bottom rod section on which the floats move up and down with a magnet to activate the reed switches.
