Lou Stahlberg did a failed survey for me a couple of years ago.
Fantastic, super thorough, gentleman, former USCG warrant officer.

At the same time, Land and Sea Marine did an engine survey (failed).
Nice guy, very thorough, gave me the straight dope on the engine issues.
Also, being from the area, knew about some of the boat's issues as soon as he walked aboard.
This was on some Volvo diesels so possibly dependent on engine manufacturer.
