Guys,
Be very careful the next few days out on the water. The debris floating around is amazing! Dock boxes , floating docks and just tons of wood . With every tide it goes out and comes back in ! As the wood becomes saturated it will lay just below the water line awaiting a victim ! Sea tow has been pulling stuff out just outside nick's point looking for our marinas fuel pumps ! Again just be careful ! Also buoys might be off station but that's another thread !

I have pulled alot of stuff.
We have a wood pile here that is getting bigger.
I know of alot of missing dock boxes.
That is why I decided to cancel the first leg of my trip.
Will second leg and leave thursday, but will take is slow and look out.
Gonna be like this for a while.
We have some go fasts going out doing 100 plus! Hope they don't find some of the missing BBQ gas tanks!!!

Yeah, lots of stuff floating around my canal. I read today that the FI inlet buoys are off station also.

Good time to scoop up fenders, life jackets, ice chest, dock boxes, ETC. You will be cleaning the waterway and scoring some gear. Of course if you can ID the owner return it.

I heard at the coffee shop this morning..........that a guy in Massapequa is missing his boat and hydrohoist ????..........could it be true ???? That would be a nice find !

Saw on the news last night: A video of a shed floating in a canal in Massapequa. They laughed at me when I tied mine off to a utility pole when preparing for the storm.
Lot's of debris floating in my canal. Seemed a little better when I looked today but still pretty bad.

Loads of crap floated in today.
It all floated out at low tide.
I think my ex wife floated up!

My marina is home to Sea Tow Freeport,

These boats were not so lucky, they were all hauled in yesterday and today........

Chris and Alan are top notch.

I highly recommend Atlantic Yacht Haven, 389 South Main Street in Freeport for anyone looking for dockage, hauling, service, winter storage etc...

They have new floating docks, new bathrooms, yard is always clean, security cameras, FREE ice for members, electric gate, and of course home to Sea Tow which every boater should have a membership to.

My boat has been there the last couple of years and I am very happy there.

Another bonus is Fred Chall Boat store is across the street so I can just walk over which I do several times a day when I am working on the boat on the weekends, its a huge time saver!

Also you have a great deli, excellent pizza/itlalian restaurant, a new $.99 store, chinese food, and Subway all right there...

here is a link to their facebook page...
