Guy with a 25’ cuddy is calling the coast guard saying his battery is dead and his “anchor is broken”. Explains he s drifting to shore. After A few minutes of back n forth, sea tow arrives on scene but he sea towboatUS member... then the guys says his anchor has caught... I guess it wasn’t “broken” after all. Then he asks the CG if he should call towboatUS or if they would...

can’t make this stuff up. Gonna be a long week end

Long ago i pretty much gave up weekend days and holidays. My schedule allowed me to boat during the eeek

We avoid holiday week ends too but sometimes the weather is just to nice. This week end though we re out but working on the 116

I was out this weekend, down the Hudson on Saturay, back up Sunday. All things considered, nothing to report. While I don't understand how people can kayak in the upper harbor of NYC, around the battery, that's their problem. I'm not one to wake kayakers so I'm glad I don't have to traverse there often.

I must say Liberty Landing was much nicer than I expected. Expensive yes but at least it was nice.
