Hello everyone!

If you're not busy loading up your boat with stripers (or strippers LOL... yes I have been reading the posts!) and/or getting your pride and joy ready for sea, perhaps you'd like to attend yet another boat show this year. Well in that case you are in luck, because the Great Upstate Boat Show is taking place Friday through Sunday, March 30-April 1, 2012.

Its at the Adirondack Sports Complex, 326 Sherman Ave, Queensbury, NY, just 7 minutes from Exit 18 off the Northway (I-87). The show website is here: http://www.greatupstateboatshow.com/

So if you're in the mood to come up and see the boats, or get away from the wife. Or get away WITH the wife, or just to come see me 'cause its been a long time LOL, come on up and visit. On behalf of the Chamber and the Marine Trades Association I'll be volunteering my time somewhere, wherever Roger Phinney and Co. want me, perhaps at the ticket booth. So if you are in town come say hello!!!

Otherwise think of me while you are out there on your boat...

What a good show. I havent been in the past few years, but decided to go yesterday with my bro since he's in the market,
and I was pretty impressed. Nice selection over-all and even some bigger boats. We met the new owners of Shady Harbor who seem
real nice, and checked out their 310 Cruisers. The new Montereys are beautiful, and the 32' monterey was by far my favorite.
Well worth the 6 bucks to get in, if anybody's looking for something to do today.

Thanks for posting, and for attending! The Shady Harbor folks live near me and are the newest of seven marinas that have gotten involved in my Chamber up in southern Saratoga County. Dont mean to brag but we had ZERO a year ago when I started and that drove me nuts!!!

They are indeed great people and its been a lot of fun getting to know them. That 310 sold yesterday and they were ecstatic. I didnt have a chance to look at the Montereys yesterday cause I was too busy at the ticket booth, I'll have to take a peek today. Thanks for the endorsement of the Show, and for coming to visit!

Took a look at those Montereys by Yankee Boat Center - they were indeed quite nice! My son enjoyed them also. One of these days we'll buy a new boat..........

Pete, do you keep your boat down in kingston, or did you move it up this way?

Hi Bob, well the Carver is still in Kingston, at Hideaway at the moment but 340 Abeel St Marina most of the year. Not sure what we will do next year yet.

The other boats are at my house in Clifton Park. Thank God for acreage LOL. So we are kind of flexible these days as to where we can put them in. Have you been at Sacandaga a long time?

Only our 4th season up at the lake, it's a great boaters lake tho, lots to do.
Have you guys been up yet?
Give a shout if you come up over the summer at all, they've got a nice launch right at
our marina if ya wanted to put in there.

Bob
