Vic, this goes back to your well written description of how U-lines work ( that should be a sticky by the way)

I am trying to help a fellow boater with locating a thermostat based on your info. His ice maker will get cold,it will not bring water in to tray or eject, but he can manually pour water into tray it it will freeze.

Also any ideas what the thermostat should cost?
Thanks

Best guess about $85.00. Contact W.L. May Co., their parts distributor. They have locations in Portland (800) 377-8881 and Seattle (800) 422-4062. You'll need to have the model number for the specific icemaker (Model 95).

Oh btw, I made that topic "sticky" just for you!

Replacing the thermostat on a U-Line icemaker isn't the easiest job in the world, and the machine will have to be pulled out of any cabinetry where it may be installed. You need complete access to the rear of the machine in order to change out the thermostat.
