Tide explanation...

Can someone explain the basic of tides. If high tide is at 9:28am and low tide is at 3:53pm, when is it 'safer' to cruise around with less risk of running aground?

What time does the tide start coming back in...?

Cruise in deep water and don't worry about tides or follow the channels.
Tide changes approx every 6.3 hours.
