Tides level near Houston!

This is the water level graph for a tide station on the Houston ship channel just east on downtown

10' above MLW, in an area with 1' rides. And rising.

All other stations in the area are running 4 to 6' above normal

The surge (+ drainage) Levels there have finally moved down quickly today , to almost "only" 50% above normal predicted levels so far. Hopefully the inland flooding will drop quickly as well, in spite of the dam & reservoir controlled and emergency spillway releases, so the next response phases can begin.
