The news is making it sound like a pretty big deal.

Thanks, my Mother-In-Law who is pushing 90 got an evac notice via a recorded call... She got confused. Linda had to deal with that. She Lives in very close to the Brookhaven Airport, the fire was only few blocks away. This is going to be a very tense few days.

My heart and prayers go out to all those who have been affected by the brush fires out in Manorville and to the brave firefighters who have done a fabulous job keeping everyone safe. Unfortunately, I don't think the island is out of the woods yet. This is turning out to be one h... of a season. Stay safe, all. Hy
