In the coming weeks there will be some changes coming due to the passing of Les Hall.

Please take a moment to click on the ads at the top and bottom of the pages with each visit. It is the income from these clicks that keeps the site afloat.
It is the least we can do to help during what will be a hard time for Elaine.

Thank you.

Dare I ask? As Les was adamant as to refusing help on this site, Is Elaine going to continue to keep BoaterEd going?
What I fear is similar to The Regal Owners Forum when 'Rommer' passed away. (Many here will remember him fondly!). The wife would not transfer, give, or sell, the info necessary to maintain the site, and it disappeared into oblivion!
I, for one, will do anything I can...physically and/or monitarily to keep this site going. When the time is appropriate, Elaine needs to be approached as to continuing BoaterEd as a viable entity.
It is too soon right now, but like minds need to be churning.

Steve, when the time is appropriate, ROs will start working in the background to do what they can to keep the site going. Competent hands are on it.

Steve...as Dan said the wheels are in motion and Elaine is receptive to someone else keeping it going. I just want to give her some time out of respect for Les and all that she is dealing with before asking her to assist us.

I had missed this. Really sorry to hear about the passing of Les. My condolences to Elain.

I seriously believe Les likely made prior arrangements for the continuation of his legacy.

I will also support whatever the consensus is.

Meanwhile, I will continue to click on the ads.

Awful news about Les.

Very good man. I had nothing but good experiences with him.

R.I.P.

Unfortunately, he did not. But we're working on it with his wife...who is very agreeable to the legacy being carried on.

:)

Glad to know that you're on it, Brian. I know it will end up in good hands. Thanks for working on it with Elaine and other ROs.

I obviously missed this notice earlier as well as the passing of Les.
Count me is with any help to keep this site going.
