Tobay show is this weekend. We have a booth and a boat in the marina. Anyone attending, please stop by.

We just got home after dinner and an afternoon at the Tobay Beach show. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon and early evening. We weren't going there to buy anything; we already have a nice 33' Cruisers. We went, at the Admiral's suggestion, to enjoy a few hours with boats, beautiful weather, calm water, and other people interested in boating. We met and spoke with a number of couples who already had boats or who were looking. We learned a little about Mount Sinai Yacht Club and will be investigating it further. we were able to give our unbiased opinion of our former boat, a 2000 Chaparral 240 Signature cruiser (which we loved). After dinner at a great Japanese restaurant in Oakdale, we came home to feed our dog and relax, Enjoy the show. Hy

I went by boat Saturday with the family. The weather was perfect and the show although much smaller than previous years was well represented.

In the end, I thought the show went pretty well. Not huge, but some decent boats and great weather. We had three boats priced right and we were busy all day.

Unfortunately, my partner had to deal with it by himself on Sunday as I had a kidney stone ruin my day. Not fun.
