A friend of ours caught us coming back from a day sail today. Great time, 12 kts breeze or so... went up and down the bay close to shore and away from the crazies :).

how was your boating day ?

for those who did not see the thread back then, this is a little 26’ gaff rigged sloop i designed and built a few years ago. 9’ beamlthough she is strip planked with western rest cedar and the rig is wood, all the structure and the bottom below waterline is divinycel cored glass.

White sand! We fill the lake up with it for the winter.

It’s ok. It works for our use which is minimal. Just to get on and off the mooring (moorings are too close to sail on and off) or to come alongside the boat to work on it.

Sort of... sandbarhopper is the website we had for the helm cam years ago. Yes back yard build.
 
Yes we shut it down a couple of years ago. I kept the domain for email.
