Yep, that's about where I am - just over the NorCal border. I've been away from New England too long - it was barely 30 degrees, seawater wasn't even freezing on the boat yet and I was cold. Yet later that same day, I was outside in a t-shirt and still sweating. New England weather swings have NOTHING on southern Oregon/northern California.
One thought that stuck in my mind from that long night - why do people greatly understate how much their boat displaces when I'm coming to tow them? I'm coming anyways, but it would be nice to have an accurate idea. There is an ENORMOUS difference between 100 tons and 150+ tons, and it doesn't take too much experience to feel the difference.
