On my 1987 Cruisers Esprit, I have a blue stripe that goes around the boat. That stripe was Imroned once, but now on my stb. side I have a number of "rubthrough?" spots and some cracking.
I had planned to get the Imron redone next Spring, but I just got my labor bill for my repower done earlier this year which put us way over boating budget.
I was thinking of using a 1 part topside paint such as Toplac and trying to match the blue as best I can (that is if you can get shades of paint) and try to touch it up without redoing the whole thing. (My port side and transom still look good.)
Any ideas would be appreciated.
