I had a through hull transducer break yesturday. The bottom apparently cracked off and sunk leaving the threaded stem in the hole holding back Lake Michigan. I got the boat to the lift truck to be hauled out and pulled the stem out with NO effort at all.
So now I am left with a 1 inch hole in the bottom and the boat on the hard. The trandsucer was for a 20+ year old depthfinder, which obvioulsy needs replaced. I would like to quickly replace the thru hull transducer and I guess get a new depthfinder/fishfinder. The transducer would need a 1 inch dia. stem. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
