I've got all the old holes in my transom sealed up nicely.
I still have a transducer for my fishfinder and wheel for speedometer mounted on the transom.
I would like to get rid of these last few screw holes by mounting a block of starboard or other material onto the transom and then screwing into it.
What material is best to use?
What is the best method to secure this block to the transom? I would rather not replace my current holes in the transom with different holes in the transom to mount the block.
I have heard that 4200/5200 will not adhere to starboard?
