Transom window

Does anyone know where to purchase replacement windows. We own a 1989 38' aft cabin and wish to replace the master stateroom transom window with one that opens. The existing window is TaylorMade but they haven't answered my inquiries.

You could install a standard deck hatch that fit the opening, with the hinge at the top.
That is how it is done on my 88 3607. The aft cabin rear "window" is actually a hatch that matches the one on the front deck.

mine also is a hatch but rectangular in shape.

I recommend you look through the POMPANETTE website. I purchased replacements all around the boat from 2 divisions of this company (4 hatches vs 12 port windows). They usually tell you the size amd will answer your calls.
