trawler fest

Uh-oh! Let's coordinate Saturday via FB or e-mail as that's when we're going too. We'll be downtown via boat Thursday after work (around 5 or so) for the Ravens game. Then Orioles on Friday and Trawlerfest on Saturday. It's going to be a busy/cloudy/rainy weekend!

Did either of you (or anyone else) go? I was planning to attend Sunday, but a nasty cold hit our house this weekend, so no Trawlerfest for me. Bummer. I have really enjoyed this show the last 2 years. I should be able to make Sail and Powerboat shows in Annapolis the next 2 weekends.

I went and was daily disappointed. Not very many venders at all. No food on site. Limited number of twalers as well. It will be my last time to this show. I am planning on going to the Annapolis power boat show though.

John, I may go to Annapolis for the first time in years. Let's coordinate that.

Paul - We were downtown last weekend and planned on going to the show. Friends of our brought a list of boats and vendors to us, we then had a shower-sump issue, and I then spoke with John and am now glad I didn't waste the money. Same boats, same lame show. Sad.

Thanks for the reports. I know the boats there are mostly the same, year in/year out, but I still like checking them out. Especially sorry to have missed 3 Nordhavn's there, especially the 40' with the owner, who charters it up north.

Hope to have fun at the sailboat show this weekend (looking for electric motors and visit some nice cats), and the powerboat show after that. IIRC, the new Garcia trawler will be at the powerboat show.'

Boat early, boat often!
