Trent Severn reduced hours

Just a note to anyone using the Trent Severn waterway in 2013, the hours have been reduced by almost 2.5 hours/day. Last lockage in the summertime used to be 7:00pm, now down to 5:00pm, 6:00pm on weekends. First lockage goes from 8:30am to 9:00am. These reductions can make huge impact on any loopers headed this way.

That sucks, but isn't a surprise...
Lots of services are taking a hit with reduced staffing. Betcha businesses along the way that depend on boater traffic won't be happy to hear this either...

And some locks won't open until 10:00am! Thats going to make for a nice line up first thing in the morning.
