We have a 2007 2665. I realized that port side boat is much lower than starboard side. I find out because of me put generator and that port side heavier... Dealer told me that they tried to relocated battery to balance out that they could do the most. Told me to play with Trim Tub…I find quite annoying. Is there something I can do?

Hiro, I have the ATC, and find it totally indespensible! Set it and forget it! Enjoy boating instead of constantly "fiddling" with the tabs.

A couple of things about the 2665.

All the seating is on one side and the boat is only 8"6" wide.

I installed auto tabs and they work great but until then try to have both tabs down some then it is just a matter of small blips on one tab to keep the nose level. The key is do a small blip and wait to see the results.

Also don't leave the outdrive down on the transom blip it up a little bit.

Lastly the boat trims and runs much better if you keep the fresh water tank full. I get about 2 mph faster on the gps with it full.

Hi Cliff,

I will try that on this weekend. I feel when fuel tunk is full better as well...?

HIRO: Look into the search function of this forum. IIRC an RO had his tabs enlarged by 50% and it improved the handling tremendously.

I red that forum. 2665 trim tub is too small...? I was frustrating using trim tub because not much change that I could not feel. Last Sunday I was long Island sound quite sometime I have played with but result… I wasn't so happy.

I put much bigger tabs on my boat last spring.

It made a huge difference.
