I remember promising someone pics on how I mounted a TV antenna (saucer type) to a canvas top. Unfortunately I can't locate the original post, so I'll throw this out there to anyone looking for ideas...

Mount location looking forward:

Mount location looking aft (180 degree zipper design to insert saucer):

Zipper is normally closed against the cable:

Cable routing (runs along poles, under canvas wraps):

Nice, but wouldn't it make the top sag and hold water in the middle of the cover
instead of running off the sides?

Nope.
The top canvas is taught and placing the unit between the supports keeps the curvature that way.
Those saucer antennas weigh very little. Been up for 2 years now without any issues.

That's pretty cool.
But we got a hard top.
