I own a 24' Performer boat. Its a Deep V and its a very well built and proven boat. On top of that, i have reinforced the hull with about $2500 worth of carbon fiber and kevlar. i didnt pay that for the materials but thats what it would cost. The boat has a custom aluminum platform 2' from the transom and its also reinforced with carbon fiber. Well, I am doing a trade with my friend and in return i get (2)Evinrude V8 4.0l 300HP outboards with low-water pickups and racing chopper style SS props.
What will happen if i put them on my 24' boat ? How fast do you guys think it will go ? or can something go very wrong by putting so much HP.
