I can't speak for a Searay installation, but the one in my Silverton comes out very easily.
There is a piece of trim to be removed and then the whole unit slides out in one piece. You need to diconnect the electrical plug and a water hose connnection and out it comes. It is much easier to work on removed and sitting on a work bench.
Not bad at all............if its under the seat on the port side.
I remove mine .....on my 370DA....every winter rather then fillin it with pink. ( I hate pink cubes )......
Just remove the 4 screws.....slide it out until you can reach the water tube and unsrew it from the unit.......then reach up and unplug the 110V plug.....and slide it into the isle.....and bam.....your done.
DD, I hope the aisle is wide enough on the 330. I am going to follow some of Vic Willman's advice and see if I can do some repairs. See my post today in Marine Sanitation -- U-Line Icemakers. Thanks. And thanks, Pete.
