We need to find someone to work on our Uline Ice Maker in Bethel Island. Does anyone have a suggestion who we can call?

What problem are you having with it? Vic in the Sanitation Forum has published a troubleshooting guide on this board in the past. They are a very simple system in general and you may be able to identify the problem and order replacement parts yourself.
 
Well unfortunately we aren't that handy and are the type of boaters who have their mechanic's number in speed dial. We defrosted it a few months ago and then it would get cold but not make ice.
Any ideas of anyone who can work on it?

There was a Mr. Anderson, in Alameda, who installed my U-Line and did all the adjustments.
I have not spoken with him in 6 or 7 years. Don't know if he would travel for repairs, but it seems he was training a younger man at the time. They did real good work and their prices were in line with the industry back then. Here is the Google info if that helps.

Stupid question... is the ice maker bar down??
 
If you defrosted it and now it can no longer make ice did you puncture anything? Does it get cold? If you leave a tray of ice in the bucket will it freeze? If not, it could be that in defrosting it the freon escaped.

Yes it does get cold but no ice. And yes the arm is down. I have called a local refrigeration company that work on Uline icemakers. They will be out next Saturday..

Wish us luck...... I don't want to spend the $$$ to buy a new one.
